Monthly Update for July 2026 for Hartford & Greenbank

Anti-Social Behaviour

Hartford Cricket Club report of damage to the Groundmen’s Shed. Unknown persons have attempted to removing the boarding up from the shed.

Report of damage to the lighting by the mosaic on the Chester Road crossroads. There are no known witnesses or CCTV.

Report of a large group of people on Moss Farm, being noisy, shouting and swearing, and underage drinking. Patrols attended, there were a number of people leaving the area, all over 18, in high spirits being noisey.

Burglary

No reports received.

Theft

Report of the theft of a parcel, which seems to have been lost/stolen in transit. The courier company conducting an internal investigation.

Road Safety

Speed Enforcement session conducted on Chester Road, 12 offences captured and reported of processing by Ticket Office.

Parking/highway Obstructions

Parking concerns on Hodge Lane, regular patrols have been conducted and no obstruction offences observed.

Report of a vehicle blocking a driveway on Moss Road, the owner of the vehicle found and the moved the vehicle.

Report of a van blocking in a vehicle parked in a bay outside the Greenbank Shops. Owner of the van found and moved the vehicle.

Weekly Police Surgeries

Thursday 3rd September, Hartford Village Hall, Chester Road, a police vehicle will be parked on the car park, between 6pm - 7pm.

Wednesday 9th September, Tesco, Regency Way, Kingsmead, a police vehicle will be parked on the car park, between 11am – 12pm.

Saturday 19th September, Whitlow Lane, Moulton, a police vehicle will be parked near to Morrisons Daily, between 12pm – 1pm.

Thursday 24th September, Greenbank Lane, Greenbank, a police vehicle will be parked near to the shops, between 4pm – 5pm.
